Overview
The Origami Sake factory had a large plot of flat land near its facility and needed a quick, efficient way to maximize the solar value of the site while remaining sensitive to nearby waterways in the Colorado Rocky Mountain foothills. Sollega's FastRack 510-6dg was chosen for its ease of installation, its extremely high ground coverage ratio, and its BASF Ultramid material — which will not rust, corrode, or leach harmful metals into the surrounding groundwater.
Minimal ground preparation was required: grading followed by a weed barrier and an aggregate layer for drainage. The one-piece design of the FR510-6dg keeps it exceptionally quick to ship, stage, and install, and with a GCR of up to 80% the system requires only 1.7 acres per MW — one of the most energy-dense ground-mount options on the market.
